Board of Directors new appointment

EQUITEL appoints Mr. Carlos Vela Martínez as new member of the Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of Equipos de Telecomunicación Optoelectrónicos, S.A. (EQUITEL) appointed Mr. Carlos Vela Martínez as a new member of the Board, in the meeting held on 29.06.07. Mr. Vela takes up the post in substitution of Mr. Antonio García Sempere.

In the same ceremony he was appointed as Technical Director of the company, becoming at the same time full member of Equitel Executive Committee.

Carlos has the Industrial Engineer Degree from Zaragoza University, and works in Equitel since its foundation, in July 1993. He has been a development engineer, Chief of the Manufacturing Department and Chief of the R&D Department successively.

We would like to congratulate Carlos for his new appointment. His incorporation to the Company’s Management Bodies will be highly fruitful for the Company’s future, due to his vast technical experience both in the development of new products and production process Engineering.
